In Loving Memory of
Phyllis "Pam" Pandora Johnson, 59, transitioned peacefully on May 4, 2026, at Sentara CarePlex Hospital, surrounded by her loving family.
Pam was born on November 5, 1966, in Richmond, Virginia to late John Webster Johnson and late Alice Mae Johnson of New Kent County, Virginia.
She leaves to cherish her memory her three children: Chris Johnson, Charity
Johnson, and Timothy Tim Johnson; four grandchildren: Jamarii Johnson
Jonathan Wallacc, Shaun Harris, Lanisha Dyson, and two great-grandchildren: King Messiah-Alexander Johnson and Alaysia Nyrii Johnson.
Pam grew up in New Kent County, later moving to Toano, before eventually settling in Surry County, Virginia where she embraced the peaceful country life she loved so dearly. She found joy in the serenity, slower pace, and peace of mind that country living provided
Pam worked and medically retired from Colonial Williamsburg in 2016.
Pam was named after her great-grandmother, Phyllis Johnson of New Kent County, Virginia. Family often wondered where the unique middle name "Pandora" originated. When asked, her mother would simply smile and say, "I don't know. I heard it one dav and liked it. Above all, Pam was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who loved her family deeply and unconditionally. Her presence, wisdom, laughter, and love will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
