Raymond Lee Wilson, Jr., was born August 14,1982 in Norfolk, VA. He was the 1st child born to Mother Elaine M. Wilson (Carrington) & Father Raymond Lee Wilson, Sr. He received his education at Warren Township High School in Gurnee, IL, where he graduated in 2000 before moving back to Virginia. After school he worked a few restaurant jobs including, the Saffron Indian Bistro in Norfolk. He lived in Washington D.C. for a few years before moving back home. He had a passion for drawing since a little boy. His two greatest accomplishments were his children, Zaniya Brane’e Wilson & Zamari Ali Wilson. Raymond was met in paradise by his grandmother, Leander Carrington, grandfather, George Isaac Carrington, and aunt, Audrey Carrington. Raymond passed away unexpectedly on August 8, 2025, after being called home free from the pain of losing his son Zamari July 3, 2022, to an unfortunate drowning at VB Oceanfront. He was predeceased by his son Zamari Wilson. He leaves behind his daughter Zaniya Wilson; sister, Rashita Wilson (Mcclair); Eldest Aunt Rosabell Morrison; Eldest Uncle Roy Carrington Sr.; nieces, Sierra Wilson, and Si’va Wilson- Sutton; nephews, Darius Wilson, Dominic Mcclair, and Messiah Wilson-Lee; as well as a host of aunts & cousins.
