Robert Webster

     Robert “Bobby” Benjamin Webster, On the morning of November 12, 2023, the sovereign God called Robert from labor to reward. He was under the care of Sentara Hospice and SNF staff members at Norfolk Health and Rehabilitation. Robert was 74 years old.

     Robert worked for a number of years at the Norfolk Naval Base and he was employed, as a janitor, with Grace Lutheran Church in Chesapeake (1983- ). He also worked on the Facilities Team at First Baptist Church of Norfolk from November 2002 through September 2010. Robert was baptized, as a child, and was a member of Mt Zion Church of God Holiness until 1987. He became a member of First Baptist of Norfolk, on May 19, 1987. Robert enjoyed the love and support of his church family until the very end. He was a member of 2 choirs, Shepherd's LIFEgroup, Vacation Bible School, and Young at Heart.

Robert is survived by his brothers, Paul Webster, Jonas DeWitt Webster, sister, Patricia (Theo) Foreman, sister-in-law, Roberta Mazingo, nephews, Reginald (Cynthia) Webster Jr, Sheldon Webster, nieces, Sheryl Webster, Delphionchante Davis, Illana (Lance) Williams, Brie (Ricky) DaCosta, Jessica Ratchford, Lauren (Christopher) Johnson, grand-nephew Xavier Davis, beloved grand-nieces, Fatimiamonee Davis, and Miyani Motley, special friends, Vancy Parrish, Max and Angelique Kymmell, Jody( ) Luck, Lee (Lucille) Herrington, and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
