Robin Bidot

Robin Dawn Bidot was born on May 14, 1965. She departed this life peacefully on August 4, 2023 at her home in Virginia Beach, VA. She was born in Bayshore, New York. In her early years, she was raised in New York and Alabama.

Affectionately known as Ma and Titi, Robin lived a selfless life full of love. She touched many lives with her bubbly personality, her giving spirit and her caring ways.

Robin was married to Edwin Bidot in October 1983 and they began traveling the world together. Robin’s loving spirit led her into her nursing career and patient care. Robin impacted many lives and always encouraged others. She opened her home to several families and friends. She never turned anyone away. Robin was the one that always made the effort to let you know she cared. She loved having her grandkids around.

 Robin was a faithful member of Village Church since it’s inception and served in the choir and health ministries for many years. She loved singing, dancing and hanging out with friends. She loved vacationing and cruising with family and friends. Robin will be sorely missed and she will be embraced in heaven by her father Robert Mickens, her sister Shirley Chambers and niece Sidney Williams.

She leaves to cherish her memory her devoted husband, Edwin Bidot; her mother, Geraldine Coker; three children: DeVonne Bidot, Siobahn Mattox and Edwin Bidot, Jr.; her loving grandchildren: Tiyana, BrookLynn, Kyree, Gabriella, Ava, Edwin, Carter, and Emmanuel; sisters, Roberta Williams and Brenda Powell; a brother, Taquan Brown; and a host of family and friends.

The Bidot family would like to thank everyone for their kind words and support and to all who brought joy to Robin’s life.
