Roosevelt Cherry

Roosevelt Cherry peacefully went to be with the Lord on May 2, 2020. Roosevelt was born February 14, 1936 to the late Laura and Lenwood Cherry. He was one of nine siblings.

He lost his wife, Mildred Cherry in 2011. Together they had six children, Michele Cherry Carter (Joshua), Bridgette Humphrey (James), Juwanda Murray (Alfonzo), Roosevelt Cherry Jr., Trent Cherry, and Traton Cherry (Yolanda). Roosevelt also had two more sons, Michael and Marvin Harris, both of California.

Roosevelt was a long distance truck driver and he also worked for Norshipco. He loved his family and he adored all of his children.

Roosevelt is preceded in death by his brother, William Cherry, and a sister, Gracie Outlaw. He leaves to cherish his memories his children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, sisters, brothers, nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends.
