Rosa Kizzie Chapman Obituary

Mrs. Rosa Vivian Kizzie was the daughter of the late Cora and Claude Kizzie. She was born December 16, 1927 in Mecklenburg County, Virginia. She was the seventh child of ten siblings. She departed this life May 1, 2021 at Signature Healthcare in Norfolk, Virginia.

She attended Mecklenburg County public schools. At an early age, Vivian accepted Christ, she was baptized and joined Zion Union Apostolic Church in South Hill Virginia. She moved to Norfolk Virginia and later married Bennie Lee Chapman, who is deceased. She took pride in her appearance and always stepped out looking as sharp as a tack. She loved to travel and shop. She worked as a caregiver and at a Norfolk dry cleaner for many years.

She was a faithful member of Norfolk Apostolic Church in Norfolk, Virginia. She also loved her church family. She was preceded in death by three sisters, Eula Cook, Anna Lee Harris, and Florence Kizzie: Six brothers George, James, William, Matthew, Shirley, and Claude Winston Kizzie.  She leaves to cherish her memory a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, great-nieces, great-nephews, and friends.
