Roslynn Boone-Webb, 46, of Norfolk, Virginia, passed away on May 2, 2025. Born on May 29, 1978, to Vincent and Deloris Boone, Roslynn lived a life rooted in purpose, faith, and compassion.
She earned her degree in language speech pathology from Old Dominion University and dedicated her career to serving students with special needs in Norfolk Public Schools. A passionate and gifted educator, Roslyn believed deeply in the potential of every child. Her tireless work and commitment to her students earned her a nomination for the Teacher of the Year award for the State of Virginia, an honor that spoke to her excellence in the classroom and her lasting impact on those she served.
Faith was the foundation of Roslynn’s life. She was a devoted disciple of Jesus Christ, committed to spiritual growth, biblical study, and sharing her beliefs with others. Her calm wisdom, quiet strength, and unwavering principles guided her in all she did.
Roslynn also had a rich creative spirit. She loved reading, writing, crafting, and exploring her entrepreneurial ideas. She approached life with curiosity, heart, and a thoughtful presence that made a lasting impression on many.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Deloris Boone; her paternal and maternal grandparents; and her brother, Vincent Morgan Gage. She is survived by her father, Vincent Boone; her brothers, Gary Gage and Allen Boone; her sister, Melanie Noland, and a host of family, friends, and loved ones. Her memory will be cherished by family, friends, colleagues, and former students whose lives she touched.
Roslynn’s legacy is one of care, creativity, and quiet strength. She will be remembered with love and respect."
