Sandra Corprew Obituary

Sandra Lee Corprew was born on October 2, 1952, in Norfolk VA to late Barbra and Andrew Skinner. Sandra was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. As the oldest of five children, Sandra grew up in a household filled with love and strong family bonds.
 Sandra thoroughly enjoyed crossword puzzles and word searches, spending time with family, crabbing, and fishing. She also looked forward to going to the flea markets, watching television, talking on the telephone for hours with her family and friends, and laughing and loving on her family.
 Sandra was the devoted wife of the late Herbert Corprew with whom she shared over 30 beautiful years of marriage.
She is predeceased by her husband Herbert Corprew, parents Barbra and Andrew Skinner, siblings Patricia Ingram and Andrew Skinner. Sandra is survived by one daughter Barbara Wright (John Wright) and a host of nieces and nephews that she cared for as her own, Charles Cherry (Chuck), Herbert Corprew, Lakecia Corprew (MaMa), Lasavior Corprew (Soulja), Tyriq Corprew, and Lashard Corprew, sibilignsg Ellen Skinner, Virginia Butts (Bernard Butts), Shelton Skinner (Darlene Hathaway-Skinner), grandchildren, John Wright, Shawn, Nixon and Julius Wright, great-grandchildren, and a host of family and friends
 
On Wednesday September 11th, 2024, Sandra Lee Corprew gained her wings, left the cares of this world behind, and transitioned to her heavenly home.
