Timothy Tyrone Andrews was born on February 13, 1963, in Norfolk, Virginia to Gladys Harrell and William Andrews. He was known to his friends and loved ones as Tim. Timothy departed this life to be with our Lord and Savior on December 24, 2022. He attended Booker T. Washington High School and received his G.E.D. and later attended Anne’s Beauty College Cosmetology in 1985.
Tim later moved to Clarksville, Tennessee, where he worked for a tire production plant for more than 10 years. While living in Clarksville he met Mary Beard and had their son Dominic Andrews. He later met and married Theresa Andrews and adopted their children Mark Scott, Marcia Scott, and Martina Scott. Years after his late wife’s passing, he moved back to Norfolk, Virginia where he later met Charlene Allen.
Tim had many skills, but he mostly enjoyed spending his time cheering on his beloved Dallas Cowboys, frying crabs, his haircare and lawn-care businesses, performing in plays with his production company Timothy T Productions that featured comedic commentary for his character “Reverend Chittling Pecan Thomas.”
Everyone always told him he had a calling to be a pastor. He organized a youth choir and was a very dedicated worker at Norva Plastics Incorporated. Tim was a down-to-earth, tell it like it is kind of man who always kept his word.
Timothy was preceded in death by his father, William Andrews, his brothers Reginald Andrews and Larry Johnson, and his stepfather William Harrell. He leaves to cherish his children; Dominic Andrews, Mark Scott, Marcia Scott, and Martina Scott, his mother; Gladys Harrell, his sisters; Patricia Spearman (Myron), Phyllis Long-Bradley (Donald), Tanya Jenkins (Weldon), his brothers; William Andrews Jr. and Kenneth Andrews (Kerri); 12 grandchildren; many loving nieces and nephews; and a host of other family and friends.
