Tommy L. Smith

Tommy Smith was born December 18, 1946, in Dublin, Georgia to the late Willie and Ella Mae Smith. He received his education in Dublin. Later, he and most of his family relocated to Paterson NJ. There in Paterson is where he met the love of his life Margaret, they got married and two wonderful and amazing children Bernard and Tara “Meme” were created. He loved and adored his family, especially his two grandchildren Tremaine and Da’Lea which were the apple of his eyes.

He is predeceased by his parents; and brothers: Therron Smith, James Smith Sr., Nehemiah Smith, Sylvester Smith, Lenton Smith, Sr., and Bobby Smith, and sisters: Willie Mae Smith, Emma Lee Harrison and Geraldine Smith.

Tommy leaves to cherish his memory, his beautiful wife Margaret of Virginia Beach, VA. Son: Bernard Smith of Virginia Beach, VA. Daughter: Tara (Shawn) Etheridge of Chesapeake, VA. Sisters and Brother-In-Loves: Luwill Smith, Annie Lee Smith, Beverly Streater of Paterson, NJ. Creola Little of Greensboro, NC, Carolyn Streater of Oxon Hill, MD, Martha Streater, Lottie Streater, Kathleen (Greg) Jefferson, Alfreda (Johnny Ray) Davis, Mae Jean Pegues, Minnie Bell Streater, Theodore (Valtine) Streater all of Cheraw, SC. (2)Grandchildren: Tremaine Etheridge, Da’Lea Eleby. (2) Bonus grandchildren: Alexis (Terry) Riddick of Newport News, VA, Shawn (Padeja) Etheridge of Waldorf, MD. (5) Bonus Great-grandchildren: Kinsley, Skylar, Jalaiya, Miracle and Jasai and a host of loving relatives and friends.
