Tyrone Curtis Williams Sr., 71, Peacefully answered the Lord’s call
on March 6, 2025. He was born on February 4,1954, in Norfolk,
Virginia to the late Curtis “Hebrew” Fentress and the late Lizzie M.
Williams.
Tyrone was educated in the Chesapeake and Norfolk Public school
system. In 1972 he joined the United State Marines. After leaving the
Marines, he returned home to Norfolk where he worked various jobs
over the years. RC Cola, Red Balls Grocery Store, The Broadway and
several Junk Yards in the area. Tyrone was gifted with the knowledge
of how to repair vehicles. He enjoyed lively conversations and had a
booming tone of voice once you met Tyrone, you would never forget
him because he left an impression when he left your presence. He was
a diehard Dallas Cowboys fan. He was a great cook, love fishing and
playing joyfully with his grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his parents, one sister Bettie George two
brothers Tony Williams and Ronney Williams. He leaves to cherish
his memory his beloved and devoted wife Yolanda Williams, Three
sons Tyrone Williams Jr., Terrell Williams (Carol) of Chesapeake VA.
Damien Long, of Norfolk, VA., Two daughters; Bridgett Jackson of Houston, Texas
and Tonya Stokley of Norfolk, VA. Twenty-four grandchildren, Eight
great-grandchildren, Five sisters, Five sisters in-laws, One brother, and host of aunts,
nephew, nieces, cousins and dear friends.
