Ubaldo "Ube" Lopez, 67, was the oldest of five children born to the late Gertrudis Soto and Miguel A. Lopez, Guayama, Puerto Rico. He was predeceased by his parents and youngest sister, Carmen Deliah Lopez-Soto. He graduated from Escuela Dr. Rafael Lopez Landron, Guayama, Puerto Rico. Shortly afterwards, he joined the USN - retiring in 2002 after 20 years of service. He worked at CACI, and subsequently, at WR Systems. He graduated from Saint Leo University in 2007. Ube was a fun loving husband, dad, granddad, brother, brother-in-law, uncle and friend. He leaves to cherish his faithful wife and friend, Sheila Lopez. They were married for 24 years. His pride and joy were his two sons, Brehon Gregg (LaToya), Centreville, VA, and Troy Lopez, Norfolk, VA: his two grandchildren, Zabian Jordan and Janae T. Gregg, Centreville, VA: siblings, Domingo Lopez and Ramiro Lopez, Norfolk, VA, Maria Soto Delgado, Rhode Island, and Miguel Lopez Soto (Uchi), Puerto Rico: and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, and three life-long friends, Edwin Ortiz, David Alvarado, and Asael Coto.
