Sister Valarie Lynn Roberson- Glover was born on July 24, 1964, in Miami, Florida to Janie Dunnom and the late John C. Dunnom. She attended local schools in Miami, Florida. Valarie met the love of her life, Karey Roberson, and married in 1987; whom she later divorced. She obtained her cosmetology license in what was formerly called Wilfred Academy in Miami, Florida. Valarie worked at Exotic Gardens part-time and Denny’s full-time, she worked for Denny’s for approximately 10 or more years. When she moved to Norfolk, Virginia she worked as an Uber/Lyft driver she also helped the elderly. She was a very family-oriented individual who had a zest for life and would try her very best to help anyone she knew in need.
Valarie was God-Spirited member of the church. While attending church in Miami, Florida she was armor bearer to Pastor Carter, and she also taught Sunday school to the little children. While living in Norfolk she attended church, and she was divine member for the Lord. She was welcomed into God’s loving embrace on Saturday, June 22, 2024.
Valarie was preceded in death by her father: John C. Dunnom; and brother Vernon C. Dunnom. She leaves many to cherish her memory, Janie L Dunnom (mother), Willie James Brinkley (brother), Venissa K. Dunnom (sister), Vickie L. Dunnom (sister); children Christina Roberson (daughter), Keshawna Roberson (daughter), Valarie Roberson (daughter), Isaiah Roberson (son); grandchildren Arieanna Chambers, Mikiya Roberson, Monte Roberson-Coleman, Destiny Washington, Kiara Aquino, Keyshawn Aquino, Keon Aquino, Keith Aquino, Kenneth Aquino. Valarie also leaves her everlasting love and memories to her aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and sorrowing friends.
