Wilhelmena Credle Obituary

On Sunday April 14, 2019 God in His divine wisdom and eminent power called our mother, sister, aunt, grandmother and friend from this life for her heavenly home. Wilhelmena Credle was born January 19, 1945 in Norfolk VA to the late Wille Shaw Sr and Mildred Moore. She was a graduate of Booker T Washington High School, after a few years she attended nursing school and was employed at Lake Taylor hospital after retiring from Lake Taylor after over 20 years, but that did not last long so she went back to work at The Ballentine Senior Living until she retired for good.

She was an active member of Mount Carmel Baptist Church for over 25 years, where she served the Lord with Joy. She was an active and dedicated daughter of Mount Carmel Baptist Church and the Mount Carmel Missionary and Evangelist Ministry, the 55 & over ministry, and she served faithfully as the Chairperson for the usher ministry, she loved to be a door keeper, she loved the lord and her church family.

She loved to help others and would lend a hand to anyone that needed help, she loved to cook, work in her garden and have family gatherings at her home.

She was preceded in death by her father Willie Shaw Sr., her mother Mildred Moore, her husband Weldon Credle and her three brothers, Willie, Marvin and Gary Shaw.

She was a loving and caring mother and loved her children dearly.
