Willie Lee Williams

Willie was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, uncle and friend to many. He was married 43 years to his wife Brenda Williams. Willie attended Portsmouth Public Schools and retired from Portsmouth Naval Hospital. Willie loved to cook, go fishing, and grow food in his garden. Willie’s go to line was “Good God Almighty” and “Great day in the morning”. Willie is survived by his wife Brenda, six children, and a host of grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. You would always catch him bright and early in the morning sitting on the porch on Maltby Ave. being greeted by all his friends. He loved his grandchildren more than anything in the world. Willie was a blessed and very caring man. He surrounded himself with family that had an unconditional love for him.
