Yvonne Elizabeth Davis departed this life on November 2nd, 2025, in Accomack County. Yvonne was born in Craddockville, Virginia on November 15th, 1938, to her parents Virginia Davis Collins and David Savage, Sr., who also preceded her in death.

Yvonne was educated in Accomack County public schools before going to Baltimore,

MD to be trained in field of cosmetology and specialized in hair styling.  She later moved to Atlantic City, NJ where she began a career as a seamstress which she did for many years and continued to work in that field when she moved back to the Eastern Shore in 1972. She eventually transitioned to working at Perdue and Holly Farms/Tyson until retirement.

Yvonne was a devoted Christian and cherished spending time reading her bible and attending church services at Shiloh Baptist Church in Painter, VA.

As her health began to fail in the last few years of her life, Yvonne was cared for by her son, Andre, along with in-home care nurses Brenda Graves, Vanessa Bowens, Kelley Bright, Katherine Giddens, and Wynette Scarborough.

She leaves to mourn four children:  Kenneth Chandler, Alvin Davis (Cherita), Angela Render, and Andre Davis; four grandchildren, Brittany Minter (Willard), Kimberly Bryan, Nicole Davis, and Jarvis Davis; two great-grandchildren, Eva and Brandon; and a host of cousins and friends.

We thought of you today, but that is nothing new.

We thought about you yesterday, and days before that too.

We think of you in silence, we often speak your name.

Now all we have are memories, and your picture in a frame.

Your memory is our keepsake with which we'll never part.

God has you in his keeping, we have you in our heart it.
