Chesapeake - Charles George Burns, 69, passed away Monday, February 13, 2017. Born in Beverly MA, the son of Charles H. Burns and Marjorie (Andrews) Burns and for many decades was a resident of Chesapeake VA. He is predeceased by his wife Wilmeda Joan Burns. Survivors include his son John W. Burns, his stepson Chuck Fisher and his wife Tammie, his brother H. Joseph Burns of Marlborough MA; and five grandchildren, Hannah Fisher, John W. Burns Jr., Deion Lee Burns and twins Jordan W. and Jasmine S. Burns.

He was a great supporter and fan of the Oscar F. Smith High School football "Tigers" and followed their activities closely. He also followed professional wrestling avidly.

John says: "Good guy Charlie Burns" was a favorite phrase. Rest in peace, good guy!
