Runetha "Nita" Moore passed away peacefully on February 14, 2017. A retired CNA, Nita was born in Bonnerton, NC on August 17,1940 to the late William David Moore, Jr and Mertha Bea Moore-Betts.

Nita loved the Lord and found strength and encouragement through reading and studying God's word. When asked, how is your day? Her reply was always the same. "I'll survive it."

She leaves to cherish her memory beloved daughter, Ronda Woods of Norfolk, VA; three grandchildren: Oreatha "Rea" Copeland, Jabaar Woods, and Karsim Woods; three sisters: Shirley Stokes of Chicago, Il, Gloria Johnson (Bruce) of Virginia Beach, Beatrice Pierce (Reginald) of Portsmouth, VA, three brothers: Kirt Moore (Lachelle) of Chesapeake,VA,  Keith Moore of Port Royal, SC, and Trent Betts (Ruby) of Hampton, VA. She also leaves seven great-grandchildren, three great-great grandchildren and a host of other family and friends.
